New Collection: Rudenica Monastery

RUDENICA_1_080A181_20240207-071829_1

Our new collection of the Rudenica monastery is available on our website. Last summer, we visited this exceptional monument of the Morava school of architecture, foundation of  nobleman Vukašin and his wife Vukosava. Their portraits have been preserved in the nave of the church, alongside the portraits of Despot Stefan Lazarević and his brother Vuk. Based on that, the church is considered to have been painted between 1403 and 1405. On our website, you can see high quality photographs and virtual tours of the interior of the church of the Monastery of Rudenica.
