Update of Tamnica church collection
Church in Donji Ajnovci in the vicinity of Kosovska Kamenica, also known as Tamnica (Tamnica) was erected in the 14th century on the ruins of an earlier Byzantine basilica. It has a cross-in-square plan and it probably had a dome. The church is built in alternate layers of limestone and brick. As it was in ruins for many centuries, only fragments of frescoes have been preserved.
In 2008, the Blago Fund team created photographs and virtual tours of the church and surroundings, and now the webpage of the collection has been updated and further imroved.
